My journey started with my dog, Luna. I was so excited to finally have my own dog but quickly came the realisation that I had a dog with separation anxiety. She was also reactive and over aroused on walks so I couldn't take her anywhere!

I scoured advice online and I tried it all, but nothing worked! I was overwhelmed, frustrated and felt completely alone. Until I reached out to a specialist who supported me through the process of teaching Luna to be comfortable home alone using Julie Naismith's methods.

This inspired me to go onto complete formal training to become a Certified Dog Trainer and a Separation Anxiety Specialist so I could understand my own dog and use both my academic knowledge and my personal experience to help other owners.

As I continued learning deeply about dog behaviour and how dogs actually learn, everything made even more sense! Her needs, her emotions, and the reasons behind her reactions. We started to make real progress and our relationship grew stronger than ever.​
